I was feeling a bit crowded with materials today, so I built 3 more panels.  I have 8 panels in various stages of construction now.  I need 10 total to complete the interior layout of my mini-maze.

In the picture to the right I have a few of the panel frames connected to make sure that there will be enough room in the maze to walk around.

It was a good feeling to see a portion of the maze set up.  It reassured me that the plan that I originally designed on paper will work in full scale.  It's a bit tight, but I don't have a heck of a lot of space to work with.  My entire haunt is going to be housed in a 10 foot x 20 foot carport so that I don't have to deal with the rain on Halloween...

The panels are certainly strong enough to support a roof structure if I wanted to expand. This year I am keeping things small (and easy to manage) in case I end up having to run the entire haunt by myself like I did last year.  I have lots of friends here that have spent Halloween with us here in the past, but  I'm not entirely sure of the level of participation that I might get from them.  Most of my friends just like to play around with the props and party, so I can't make the haunt too complicated.  I like to party a bit too...
