I'm feeling a bit better today. I have more energy and got quite a bit
done at the haunt.
Two more Pop-ups are completely done this evening and everything is now operated by remote control.
That makes it a lot easier to wire up the haunt and control the action from a
central location. I have a feeling that everyone will be fighting over the
remote control tomorrow night.
| Guess that I thought that this picture was kind of
funny. Seems less funny now that I am looking at it again, but
thought that I'd stick it on the website none the less. I'm trying to
hang a light above the toilet to accentuate the lovely decorating that
was done.
The dog keeps trying to
eat the decorations whenever She's around. <laughing> |

Tomorrow will be a very busy day.
We still have no sound set up. I am working on the remainder of the CDs
tonight, but there's a lot of speaker wiring and the like to be done before the
evening tomorrow.
The night vision cameras arrived with the remote controls today, but I didn't
have time to wire them up, so we're running blind until I have a chance to get
that done. Hopefully I will have some help tomorrow so I can focus on
cameras and sound.
I still have 2 more pneumatic props to build. They're not critical, so
they'll most likely be installed next week. I don't expect a lot of guests
on the first night and we still have 21 scares in the haunted house without the
extra 2, so we're good for now...
Would you believe that we still have some painting to do. We need some
black paint in the control room and some additional painting in the door
hallway. That has to happen first thing in the morning so it's all dry by
evening...
That reminds me - we need some bright lights in the door hallway too.
And the newspaper interview is somewhere in the middle of all that...
I wish I had my crew of friends from back in Eugene to help me get the last
minute details done... <sigh>
It's going to be busy tomorrow and a little stressful, but the end result is
always a blast!
Wish me luck!!!
