| I just found another smelly egg... I
don't remember ever finding eggs that smelled so badly in my life.
They're "fresh" from the grocery store, but when you crack them
and put them in the frying pan it smells like you greased the pan with
Formula 409 or something. I couldn't imagine eating them. I
had to take out the trash after throwing them away because the whole
downstairs of the house smelled. It's a very chemical smell.
Not at all like rotten eggs, more like eggs that have been injected with
some kind of cleaning agent. Horrible.
Anyway, I bought some eggs at CostCo (Omega? from Washington) or
something like that. 3 of the eggs in the carton had that horrible
smell. The first time it happened I was making scrambled eggs and I
thought that all of the eggs were bad or something. It turns out
that only a few of them were bad, but I decided that I was not going to
buy that brand of eggs anymore... Well, I just got another one of
those eggs out of a carton that came from Safeway. It's a brand from
California. Same horrible smell (although not nearly as strong).
I've been searching the internet for a couple of hours and haven't
found anything like what I have been finding. Seems like someone
else would notice the nasty eggs and post something about it. Maybe
I am the first. |
